Southern Connecticut State University’s Health & Human Services Building is a 94,750 sq. ft. LEED Gold facility designed by Svigals + Partners with Little Diversified. It brings together 20+ health-related programs in a modern, light-filled space that supports interdisciplinary learning, clinical training, and community engagement.
To complement the building’s exterior, Móz Designs fabricated 28 custom laser-cut aluminum panels that form a striking sculptural feature on the façade. These panels, each roll-formed with welded brackets and precision-cut to varying sizes, were finished in a durable exterior-grade AAMA 2605 fluoropolymer powder coat—ensuring long-term color retention and resistance to harsh weather. The panels not only add depth and visual movement but also reinforce the circular motif used throughout the building’s signage and wayfinding, tying architectural expression to functional design.
