OVERVIEW:
The BG Dean Mann Readiness Center, designed by FEH Design, is a modern military facility serving the South Dakota Army National Guard in Sioux Falls, SD. The building balances durability, functionality, and civic presence, creating an environment that supports training, administration, and community engagement. A prominent interior lobby features large-scale graphics and architectural elements that reinforce military heritage and the legacy of the citizen-soldier, including a custom Minute Man graphic that anchors the space and supports clear wayfinding and identity.

SCOPE:
The project includes a custom Moz Hat Channel Wall System at the lobby backwall, featuring ten (10) laser-cut aluminum panels in Patina 212L Fog Flat finish, totaling approximately 300 sq ft. Panels are fabricated from 3/16″ aluminum and mounted on 6″ Moz standard channel with color-matched hardware. Integrated LED strip lighting and light-diffusing acrylic provide a backlit effect that enhances the Minute Man imagery and text.
Sidewalls are finished with Moz Sheets + Trim, consisting of forty (40) custom-sized .040″ aluminum sheets in Patina 212L Fog Durafilm finish, covering approximately 880 sq ft. Panels are detailed with corner trim in a custom black powder-coat finish for a clean, cohesive architectural appearance.
