Móz Designs Columns Spotlight Denver Dining-and a Hidden Speakeasy-at DIA

Móz Designs’ latest installation at Denver International Airport features ten custom metal columns that seamlessly connect six beloved local restaurants within the newly renovated Concourse A Marketplace.

In collaboration with ENV Architects and Swinerton Builders, Móz created dynamic, backlit black-and-white columns that establish a striking visual backdrop for travelers moving through Denver.

The project is organized into two distinct zones. Concourse A Center establishes a strong visual anchor with five snow-colored, backlit columns in Móz’s Twinkle pattern, helping define the spaces between Tocabe, The Bagel Deli, D Bar, and Williams & Graham -the viral speakeasy hidden behind a bookshelf. The columns create cohesion across varied storefronts while adding light and a welcoming presence for visitors.

Concourse A West features Móz’s Black Sand and White Matte powder coat finishes, framing Denver favorites including The Bindery, Uncle, and Maria Empanada. Built for longevity in a high-traffic environment, the finishes and detailing support maintenance efficiency while maintaining a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Together, the columns help reinforce the goals of DIA’s ongoing upgrades, creating welcoming spaces that encourage passengers to pause, recharge, and engage with local food and retail.
